Domestic Shipping Rates (Continental USA only)
All items will be ship via UPS, FEDEX or USPS ground service unless other arrangements are made. Upon purchase, customers will be charged a shipping deposit equal to 25% of the order total or a minimum deposit of $12.95, whichever is larger. The actual shipping charge will not be known until the order ships. If the cost of shipping is less than the deposit, the customer's account will be credited the difference. If the cost of shipping is equal to or more than the deposit, Crocodile Train Store will retain the entire deposit. No additional charges will be made to the customer.

US Territories that do not qualify for shipping prices including, but not limited to, (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and APO Boxes) will be charged the actual cost of shipping (Plus a $3.00 handling fee). Oversized And/Or Heavy Packages
Oversized and/or heavy packages that have dimensional weight charges will incur additional shipping charges as imposed by all shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL). Customers will be charged the actual cost of shipping (Plus a $3.00 handling fee). Items may include, but not limited to: Transformers, Track, Sets, Expansion Packs, and more. Call for details. Please Note these types of orders will incur additional freight charges and will be added by Crocodile Train Store at the time of order processing and will not be reflected on the final order checkout page.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST might be shipped the next business day, or the following day depending on volume particularly at Christmas. Occasionally, orders may be held due to a transfer of inventory between warehouses. For consumer protection, all orders are subject for review, including credit card authorization and verification. As a result on occasion there may be a slight delay in order processing; your patience is greatly appreciated. If your order is time sensitive, please inform us at the time of order. The shipping rates apply to when the order is ACTUALLY shipped.
Items shown on the website with zero stock are removed when orders are processed and the web databases are synced multiple times throughout the day but not continually with the 3 warehouse points of origin for the products sold, this means that there may be times when items that are shown as available are actually NOT available. This condition is the exception not the rule. In this case, if a credit card has been charged, a credit will immediately be issued. Credit card processing is done in batches and typically the sale will be voided before charge reversal becomes necessary.
If you require a signature at the time of delivery, please include a note in the "Order Notes" section when placing your order stating, "Signature Required". There are times, which are at the UPS Driver's discretion, when you may be required to sign for your package.
All shipments are insured for actual cost.

Shipping to P.O. Box / APO Box:
If you have chosen to ship your parcel to a P.O. or APO Box, the delivery service must be provided by the USPS.; No exceptions. Shipping to a P.O. Box or APO Box will incur additional fees.
Shipments are only serviced on regular business days. Please note that UPS, FedEx, DHL and the USPS do not pick up parcels from Crocodile Train Store or it’s distributors on Saturday, Sunday, or certain national holidays.; This means that any order submitted after 12:00 PM EST on Friday may not be processed or shipped until the next business day (Monday).; Express Shipping Services will not be applied to backordered items.; Although we try, Crocodile Train Store may not process and ship your order the day that you've submitted it.; For this reason, you must account for the time that you are submitting your order as well as the specific shipping guidelines set forth by each courier.; If you are placing a time sensitive order and have further questions about Express Shipping Services, please call us at 607 243 5100 or 207 249 4365 during our hours of operation.

When can I pick up my order at your store?
Please call us at 607 243 5100 or 207 249 4365 before you pick it up at our retail store to check in-store availability. Many of our items are shipped directly to you from our distributors. In addition, to comply with NY state law we are required to collect 8% NY sales tax either at the time of purchase or when picked up.
Can you combine, add items to or hold order(s)?
We do not combine or hold orders. Subsequently, we do not make additions, deletions or modifications to orders. Prior to finalizing your order, review your shopping cart to assure you have ordered the correct scale, quantity, etc.
If a package has been damaged in shipping and it is apparent when the package arrives at your door, please REFUSE the delivery. If you have already accepted a package, and then discover that it has been damaged, call us immediately at 607-215-0019. Be sure to save all paperwork and packing material with the damaged goods. The carrier may wish to inspect it before processing the claim. Please do not return damaged-in-shipment merchandise yourself. The additional packaging will jeopardize your claim and keep you from receiving credit for the return.
